At 17, Becky began recording a compilation of popular, spiritual and Christian songs as a thank-you present for friends and relatives as she graduated from high school. Trinity Recording Studio owner Jim Wilken was producing the “demo” CD and was so taken with Becky’s talent that he suggested she record a professional album and he would release it.
The rest is history as they say. The album was entitled "A String of Pearls Christian Treasures". Her first single was a song entitled "Higher Love" went all the way to number five on the God's Country Music Chart. The song was played worldwide and earned Becky the title "Gospel Artist of the Week" twice in the Netherlands. A second release “Mighty Hand”, headed up the charts to number 2.
Becky’s CD “SOLID” was released in March 2001. The CD features more contemporary Christian songs, as well as songs with a mild country Christian flavor. Her first release from the CD, “Rock That Won’t Roll”, debuted in June 2001 and reached number 12 on the charts. “Always There For Me”, also from the “SOLID” CD, did well upon its release by HMG Records out of Nashville, being played overseas as well as here in the States. Now 21, she has also recorded a Christmas CD and a CD of old time favorites.
